Run No. 2063 – 17 April 2018 – Rocky City Pink Breast Run

Written by Close to Me

On a balmy evening on the foreshore in Rockingham 22 Perth Harriettes made the numbers up to 105 Hashers from all over for the 5th Rocky City Pink Breast Run.

With a trailer full of various drinks on ice, hashers mingled as they prepared for the evenings events.

At 7pm Thunder mounted the crate and waffled on regarding the run promising a drink stop, and off we went. At an easy run/walk around the streets of old Rockingham, the pace was so that we could catch up with old friends and have a bit of a chat.

On reaching the foreshore there was a pink champagne drink stop which some didn’t want to leave but we soldiered on to complete the run/walk at the venue, where there was a spread of nibbles and more time for chat and catch up.

Circle was called The GM Black U who thanked everyone for attendance, visiting GM’s were recognised with a down down, HJ carried out a long presentation regarding the recovery process from Breast Cancer using some hashers to make her point.

Thunder announced the selection of 3 best dressed ladies, being 1 unknown to me and the other 2 our own Butt-Less and Kebab. A few males were selected as samples of what women may or may not want to sleep with, which bought some giggles.

Circle altered abruptly with Money No. draws and 16 Raffle Prizes, our club bagged a few.

A small amount of general business was announced but no chargers or any other normal circle activities such as club songs etc. happened, the R/City PBR song was sung and circle was over.

We were then fed with copious amount of chicken and salads followed by cakes.

Soon after it was time to set off on our long journey back to civilisation.

ON ON to the Baby Shower next week.
