Hares: Deaconess & Assassin
We are blessed for a lovely night, weather was looking a little suspicious earlier and Monday was wet.
LONE RANGER who looked fantastic in her sexy bunny outfit, there were bunny’s everywhere. DEACONESS calls us out the front and tells us all on chalk, 2 runs one long 7kms and one a little shorter only 5kms. Looking for HALF CUT my running partner, Gone!!
Walked along with HOME JAMES and before you knew it we went up a couple of hills, rounded a couple of corners, some lovely views of the city, passed KEBAB and DRIBBLE, not much running done, just walking and talking, HOME JAMES not happy that we come across another hill. Before you know it we are in Haig St, Bit of a long walk, then home.
ASSASSIN (chef extraordinaire) had cooked a little Roo for us and some fantastic tasty food.
DEACONESS brings out her famous eggs for the 1st game of the night.12 eggs 12 spoons and 12 Harriette’s at
the starting block.Ok run around the yard, DO NOT DROP THE EGG….. ROLL ON at the front TICKETS behind. GO!! Screaming, short cutting and holding of the egg, we run.
I short cut through the garden, SARGE jumps out to bump into as many of us as she could, TICKETS looks good but the winner is MARY POPPINS. I’T ALL about MARY POPPINS – she can do no wrong this famous woman.
(I hear they are doing a play in her honour.)
Dinner is served (if we are not already full from starters). Lasagne and salad. Yummy.
More drinking, more games, Get your partners and start passing the egg, All move one step back and throw, do not drop the egg. WENCHY AND BLEW HE start off very well, DJ and SARGE doing a fantastic job of chucking eggs everywhere, AUNTY VAL also doing well, we had so much fun but finally after boiled eggs all over the lawn the winners were TICKETS and TIP’M. A fantastic night thanks to DEACONESS AND ASSASSIN.

BALL BREAKER lets us all know that our MUDDY is back in hospital for an op.
We all wish her well and miss her smiling face. Get Well Quick. Xx

COMET on LIBERTY took a short cut in the egg and spoon race And nearly took her head off on the clothes line.
FREEBY on PUDDLES for winning the hash dinner and didn’t know what it was.
TIP’M on SARGE for jumping out & cracking eggs.
CHEAPY on SARGE for her name as “LUSCIOUS LINDA” on a sticky label on her feather boa.
APRIL FOOLS go to PUDDLES, EVEN STEVENS, WOMBAT & COMMANDO for all believing there would be only beer and soft drinks at the Hash.
KEBAB should be in that lot as well, she has an esky full of booze out the back.
Probably a few more were caught out but didn’t admit it.
