GUIDE DOG – SORRENTO
It’s almost 7o’clock when DIY and I arrive to the nice new renovated house of Guide Dog. Wow not one kitchen but two. Frank gives us a guided tour, showing us what has been done. It looks Fantastic. Lots of thought has gone into the renovation. The Tour ends quickly, as we are called out the front.
Camel has bought a visitor from Germany. Great place, I can even speak a word or too.
Guide Dog informs us it’s on left on right on path on anything
(After conferring a long time with her Co Hare Roll On) we are finally on the way.
Lots of Great false trails, the pack kept together, talking, walking and keeping fit. On to a check or, two, or four. Then on on called up this bl…y great hill.
This slowed down the pack!!!
Shorty finds trail. The pack gets a little spread out. I can hear Dynamo in front.
We continue with a few more false trails, this finds myself and Half Cut trying to catch pack. (Oops.) Are we talking too much? Me? Ha-ha!!! Then around the corner we see Lone Ranger in front. Yep, back on trail!! Rations with the horn, so ever blasting, or was it Wombat? We hear the call on on, up the hill around the corner and it’s On Home called.
The Circle is about to commence are we all Home?? Missing in action are, Liberty, Aunty Val and Even Stevens. Has anyone seen them…..NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK send out the troops, Roll On, Guide Dog and Shorty, off they go in their cars. The lost, return, only 2 minutes later. Calling all mobile phones!! Hello troops anyone answering? Oh guess what!! In the days that everyone has a mobile, not one of the good Samaritans had taken theirs with them. !!! Go figure that one.
EVERYONE has returned safely to Base camp.
